... I wasn't gonna color her or any of the Kankers untill I had sketched the rest of the EEnE characters but I REALLY wanted to try doing blue hair!! I also tried a different coloring technique on it... Any good?I failed miserably on the rest of the drawing...

I screwed up in most of it though... This is what I get for stopping coloring my drawing out of fear of ruining them!!

I really love the hair and shading, it looks like an actual light source is fading on her

But I don't really know much about light sources and shading is my weakest point, I did try my best with the hair so the rest of the drawing looks meh~ compared to it!

No problem at all! I specifically liked the shading on the arms and stuff for whatever reason, it just looks so nice and smooth ^_^

Thank you!! I tried really hard to blend the colors properly so maybe thats why!
If it helps used 3 different colors ( dark, medium and light) +white I aplied a really soft layer of the lightest color then I took my darkest color and gently colored more or less where i wanted the shade to be then I added the medium color on top of the darkest and in some other parts, I rook the light color again and passed it on top of the othe two... Then I blended everything with white and repeated the same process untill I was satisfied with the colors.

Tbh I completely suck at coloring with anything but, say, Paint Tool Sai, so it is much better than I could have done.
But my technique is usually to just go into a layer above all the colors, apply a shade of the same color and just smear it with the water brush c:
Same with highlights, just with a white airbrush c:
I know coloring on a tablet and coloring via hand is completely different tho, so I'm probably rambling xD

I have had my software pirated on a little sandisk flash drive for years now xD
I used to have cs6 but for some reason my version kept timing out or something .-.
But I find Cs5 just as effective, for what I use at least :3

Yeah the pirated CS6 version usually gives a lot of problems I was lucky! But sometimes it does give me trouble with the tablet. :-\

I tried so hard to not color her untill I had the ither characters but Atlas!! I couldn't resist!! But I regret not coloring her eye green... I made it that color to experiment and because I tought it would suit her... I was wrong. T_T

Yeah, just kinda in a 'slump' right now. Not wanting to do much for submitting. I do have two chapters written out (Host Club & Fuedal Era [Sesshou Prequel, Potential for Miroku or Kouga stories] though, if I ever get around to typing them up and submitting.
