HOLY MOLY WAAAT IT'S THE PRACHOVSKÉ SKÁLY! O.O I was there! It wasn't so gloomy and I didn't have a bow (or fur for that matter xD) but I was there! XD There's a lot of cool stuff there, even the ruins of a castle. xD
I have to say, this is absolutely breathtaking, especially for a speedpaint! I didn't need more than one look to recognize it where it was, it looks remarkably like the actual place. All the shapes and even the details are there! Honestly the details are especially amazing - a bit rough in the usual speedpaint way, but still there. I also really like how the wolf contrasts with the environment in the contrast is most focused on the wolf and the nearby steps but disappears more and more in the distance. Really gives it that feel of being in the middle of nowhere, where the only thing keeping you alive is a whim of the weather gods.

Sweet Jeegus! This is amazing! I love the strong lighting and use of blues and greys! There's a great sense of depth here, and also the sense of receding space. The colors you chose also help convey a feeling of cold, like they're walking into a snow-covered world (and I can definitely feel the Skyrim vibes haha)
If I could offer any critique, I would say that while you have a lot of grey 'middle' values and extremely bright light values, you don't have many extremely dark contrasting values. The darkest the piece gets is in the depth of the silhouette of the figure. If you wanted to: going back and darkening the darkest shades that are closest to the viewer will help add to the feeling of depth in the piece, as well as pushing a few of your whites a bit brighter.
A good way of telling whether you've pushed your darks/lights a good amount is to take your eyes out of focus, or to zoom out really far from the picture plane. If all the colors seemed to begin to mesh into a single grey tone, you may want to add more darks/brights. If you can still make out definitive planes, then you know you've pushed them well.
This is all my personal opinion though, and you by no means need to do anything with it
Overall I love this! I love the experimentation with depth, and you utilized the grey tones in the background of the piece well to create the illusion of the passage fading into the distance! I also love the way you texturized the cavern walls, and how well you handled the different values. You did awesome Dragoooo! Keep up the amazing work! Man I feel like every time I look at your artwork you've done something awesome to improve! Haha I can't wait to see where you go from here

Ah yes, i see what you mean! It does lack that contrast in the picture as at the moment it's quite dull value-wise!
Thanks for pointing that out! I'll surely pay more attention! I'm pretty sure i managed to get that more grey in the picture thanks to referencing. I didn't take too much direct color dropping, but i did try to get it exactly like the one there, so i guess that distracted me from getting in my own colors heh.
But ahh, thank you so much for all the wonderful words, L! It means the world to me! <3

Neat. Reminds me of Skyrim, trekking up to the first barrow by Riverwood.
