Description now thats a name there...lol

Well...heres more work at my new idea on planet details and atmospheres in max...Oh and if ya look hard enough, you'll see rings and I tried to see about a whole aurora thing agian...I think I did better this time!

95% done in 3D s Max and the rest is PS...I was messin around with the stars so I just love how the colors show up...let me know if ya like them to cuz this is a new idea I tried...

wow, that's a very good picture, pleasant to look at it the composition is simple, yet perfect, and the soft background and the colours are soothin. the glow of the planet is far too heavy anyways, you should make it smaller... and I would suggest making a few glimpsing stars in the background, not more than 10.. make these sharper and a big brighter... not too much. that would balance that piece out.
but it's great anyways

you're going places dude, that main planet is gorgeous although the glow is far too much. The smaller planet is cool too and fits in well. The background is perfect, no change necessary. A very well composed piece, keep at it!

nice starfield, but i dont understand the orange void on the little planet....
u must work better on the atmosphere of the bigger planet... try using the photoshop's outer glow....

theres an aurora on the moon and Im tryin to learn Max for doin everthing...I already know how to use PS's outer glow and all...lol just learning new things

i think this piece is stunning dude! very well done and i also envy you, i love how the colours in the starfield just look so graceful and neutral its a lovey piece of art. My only crit would be that i am not too fond of the arourae glowy thing on the "rusted son" but apart from that, its amazing! well done!

That's great! The colours and sun glow on the big planet are just right. This makes a really good wallpaper. However, I can't help thinking that it might look a little better if you put something in the top righthand corner.
