I love the color palette of your figure. I also enjoy the happy, bright spirit of the background; however, it's also much brighter than the figure and kind of distracting. She would stand out more if her values were stronger, or the background more muted.
One of the best ways to improve would be to choose a light source, as your light seems to be coming from a lot of directions. References are your best friend, or even just a mannequin with a light on it.

Thanks ! And yeah, I'll try to think about it next time but to be honest I don't have much time to paint/draw these time so I just did it in like 2/3 hours just to have something done, I didn't really put any attention to it. x'D
But I agree with you, I'm always telling myself to take reference but I never do //slapped

I like how the curl in the ponytail is believable and realistic, rather than an obvious cartoony ringlet.
