I don't remember the name of the episode when Kirk looks like that at Spock, but I do remember that he was joking about Spock and his 'no-emotions-only-logic'.The second picture, however, I remember that it's from 'Dagger of the mind' when Kirk's at the transporter with that chick whom he has met once at a Science Lab party. Clearly, he's not all that happy to see her XD
Funny though, he's almost always happy to see Spock, no matter what...I wonder why...

It's logical that captain has an emotional outburst in Mr. Spock's presence. That would be explained with the up-going level of serotonin in his his nerve system which is why Captain sexy pants always feels joy near Vulcan and the pleasure goes down while being near a female mate.
