[link] ...There's nothing bad about this moon, but I couldn't resist.Anyways, This is a photo of the moon I took through an old telescope from the 70's my father-in-law gave me.
I use my point and shoot to get the shot.
I think it turned out pretty well given the limitations of my equipment.
Photo taken in New Hampshire.

This only works at all AFTER I read the description. Otherwise I just wonder why the crescent is distorted. After I read about it, it's kinda interesting though.

Yeah. I took out the eye piece on the telescope and stuck my camera into it. It took awhile to get it right, but in the end i think it looks pretty nice.

Yeah, this is definitely an beginners shot as well. It was alot of work to get with the equipment I have.

Spectacular! I love night shots but don't have the equipment or skill to do them myself. Eventually, I hope to be more than a point-and-click type but I'm not looking to be a professional. That goal in life is as a writer. At least you're in the right place to display your work. DA is the bomb!

Equipment helps but it isn't everything. For example, this shot was taken with an old telescope from the 70's and my point and shoot.
