Why am I only just NOW posting this??So, I'd been sitting on redoing the feet to my Minty costume after I took the original to a con and found that slippers are not made for long periods of standing. This project had been sitting on the back burner until I learned that the MLP movie was due to be released in like, 2 weeks. Being the nerd I am I wanted to wear my Minty to the opening night showing, but I needed to finish my outfit first! So I scrambled to try and finish the dang thing, which included not just redoing the feet, but the tail and shirt as well (the cutie mark was backwards on the original). This is what the outfit looks like now.
Due to the limited space in those hoofs, I had to use freaking STEEP wedges, which completely defeats the purpose of redoing the feet so that I can stand comfortably. I'm afraid I've really hurt my feet standing in those, they've been giving me some trouble lately...but I don't care though, they look amazing. I'll just have to be careful not to stand in them too long, and see if I can get some gel support inserts or something.

Ha, I dabble in animation and cosplay. Most of my cosplays are assemblies, and have very little original creation to them. When they do, I've sought for help with it. Minty's hat was commissioned, for example.
My animation skills are entry level, if not very very basic. I learn from studying other artists and their work, and applying some of the rules I learned in the few months I was studying animation at college.
But I appreciate the compliment all the same.

Ah, yeah, you might not be a "master" of the trades, but it's still cool that you dabble in so many things. 
Do you still make stuff these days, like costumes (even if they're with help), photos, drawings and such? I'd like to commission an idea or two if I could!

Last cosplay I made was Luigi's Mansion, mostly just doing up what I already made to make it better. I've dabbled in some resin craft, made that sweet bonsai in my gallery somewhere, but big projects I've not done much lately. Depression's lack of interest and motivation has been a kill. I've ecked out a lot of pencil sketches and scribbles, but I've not uploaded for two reasons: 1 no scanner (cat broke mine, still have to get it replaced), and 2 they're typically just scribbles and sketches not worthy of posting.
Lately my focus has been on an extensive passion project revolving around D&D sessions with friends. I'm nearly done with it, just waiting for a couple of pieces from other people before I can finally upload everything on the new channel. I'll be sure to post a journal entry about it once I've got it up and running.
I'm open to commissions, but I'm wary to take them on. My experience with trying to run them in the past is that I never commit all the way and fall through. Good thing hardly anyone took me up on the offer. What did you have in mind?

I'll Note you, but I understand about difficulty committing thing. I could maybe come up with something simple and easy to do, not something that takes a lot of setup and time.
Sucks about depression.
