My local comic shop does an art jam every month. Last month we pulled a character out of a hat and had to do a mock cover for that character. So here is mine. Eventually I will ink, but prolly not for a while. So little to do and so much time. Strike that, reverse it.Related content

Woah, man. This looks pretty awesome. I'm not really sure the board is supposed to be in that angle, but other than that, everything looks badass. The way you shaded the Surfer will probably look amazing once inked/colored. Looking forward to it

I like the Surfer's pose. It's strange that a guy whose is just silver and on a silver has such amazing possibilities when it comes to poses, but I've always felt like he does. The post is great, different and full of power.
I'll totally admit to not being impressed by Galactus simply cuz I know that's not what his face looks like. The piping looks really odd, like it's bolted onto his face. The face itself looks pretty good, the nose is well done. Also, the classic square-pupils aren't there either, which is really a take-it or leave-it kinda deal, but I love 'em eyes! They're so strange, yet fitting.
However, this is a Silver Surfer comic, so it's a minor problem (but it's still a problem).
The planet exploding is a nice touch, I can totally dig that.

Hmm, maybe I will look up more reference for Galactus. Everyone I pulled up he looked a little different. Is it just the pipping or are there other things that are wrong?
