Description Process for a new print I am working on. 11x17 bristol, PITT and ink wash, digital colors.

The top row is thumb, rough pencil, final pencils 1 and 2.

Bottom is inks 1 and 2, ink wash and finally digital color.

I struggled a bit with the color. I couldn't decide how I wanted it too look. I did a more traditional color, but I just liked the contrast in the original b/w piece, so I wanted to retain that. Eventually went with a more monochromatic coloring.

I should have these available at mega con orlando next week. Let me know if you want to purchase the original.

Here's the final

Despite your hesitation, the palette is what makes this piece. Ties everything nicely, good job

I like looking over artists' processes. With a piece like this, it would be pretty difficult to keep the initial pencils clean. I think going with that blue color was the most successful thing you could have done here.

Exquisite.
And very educational too!
Pity it's so small... it could have been a much larger scan so prelims and pencils could be clearer, truth to be told, but even this is phenomenal.
Amazingly well done.

Woah, is this your Pummel piece? If so you're going to crush it!

I still think you should have been voted Heavy.

Now post up a larger piece so I can see all the nice little details.
