Description
While the first BloodRayne was a game I already played, I knew nothing about the second game.
I started the second Bloodrayne immediately after finishing the first one and the impact was intense, certainly the second game is much polished and have more assets and textures, Rayne doesn't jump/fly in a clumsy way everywhere.
However the gameplay is sometimes frustrating, the normal enemies are damn repetitive and undemanding throughout the first part of the game, while the mini-bosses (not the bosses) are damn strong.
The second part of the game is tremendously hard, I didn't understand how to increase the lifebar and I only discovered it in the penultimate chapter by watching a tutorial on youtube because I was stuck in a section against basic enemies.
Due to a glitch I had no problems with the final boss, I beat it on the first try, the ending is very interesting and it's a pity that there is no real BloodRayne 3.
BloodRayne 2 has a nice level design, nice bosses and generally a polished gameplay but overall I found BloodRayne much more fun.
Both TerminalReality games are great, while Wayforward's BloodRayne was very subdued.
