(A work in progress of) my favorite gijinka of anything, ever.

I feel like of all the gijinkas I currently draw, it's Sword that has the most personality, the widest range of expression, the loudest voice -- and for a bit character in the original series whose face you never see and whose opinion you never hear and whose voice you never hear for more than five lines at a time...somehow somewhere along the line some great headcanon spurred to mind and kept on spinning and spinning until I no longer saw him as a bit character or a plot device or didn't notice him at all -- and Sword is just as much of a character as any other in the Kirbyverse, no less than Meta Knight or Kirby himself or hell, even Meta Knight's weapon.

Not to downplay Meta Knight's accomplishments, but this guy deserves a whole lot more recognition than he gets. Meta Knight grew up slaying demon beasts and vanquishing cosmic horrors because it was his job to do it -- he loses all of his friends to the war he fought for, nearly his own life, and abandons the rest of himself in the process. Sword loses his entire livelihood to a war he has no part in and grows up mugging Star Warriors out of necessity. Something in that me tells me that Meta Knight ain't the only guy in town with a bone to pick at the past. Yet he's the only one who seems to do it.
Likewise, like all of my character sheets (at least for the ones I plan to make), I'll be adding a bio and more design details and expressions of him not always angry all the time because those definitely are necessary.
