You know, I can actually imagine Byakuya joining in with Kenpachi just to shock the hell out of Renji. And then acting like nothing happened when he wakes up (coz he'd obviously pass out from the shock) and then Renji would forever be wondering if he had been hallucinating! XDD
I mean it's been shown Byakuya loves to catch Renji off guard, and that he does in fact have a sense of humour. It has also been shown he gets along well with Kenpachi, so... *shrugs*

I watch the dubs for most animes so it does confuse me a bit... but taichou is a term used for the captins in the subs correct? XD (thats what I'm guessing but correct me if I'm wrong ^^)
And please don't get on me for watching dubs like a lot of people do... I enjoy them and it doesn't bother me
