Description
Running through the forestI think of my love
What she means to me
And what I'd do for her
I'd give up blood
Go on national TV
I don't think there's anything
I wouldn't do
But as I come into the clearing
I think of one thing
As a bird swoops by
And my heart follows its soft song
I will not take this from her
This life this wonder
It's all there for her to take
But why does she choose me?
I run through the night
Following a familiar path
I find myself outside her window
Wondering if I'm allowed in
I have almost decided
When I stop and look out
Upon the shimmering night
Thinking maybe this isn't so bad
When I reach her bed
She is still fast asleep
In her own little dream world
And I hope I'm with her there
As the first light
Spills over her face
I am still unsure
About what is best for her
For I know if I change her
I will be taking so much away
But if I leave her unprotected
What will happen then
But it does not need to be decided now
It can wait another day
Because as her soft eyes flutter open
I know I am the first thing she sees

I am not a Twilight fan at all, but I love your poem. It's like you read in Edward's mind and took the words he used to say how much Bella means to him.

OK, Im A HUGE twilight fan, and not cuz the movie came out, since the book first came out (which was NOT 6 months before the movie as some weirdos think) and I do not normally like fan fics of twilight, cuz a lot of people screw it up or are the weird fan ficc-ers that just dont actually understand it, but think they do, and claim to be fans, when actually they need to get a life.., anyways, rant over. This is the only fan fic of twilight ive liked. Its great. Totally from edwards point of view though i think u should have made it a bit clearer that actually hes not so scared about taking it away from her, hes more scared of doing it selfishly. He thinks that turning BElla into a vampire will be the most selfish thing he'll ever do. But total thumbs up to this poem,its great - be proud of it. x x
