I think, At some point,Everyone dreams of finding..
An Edward.
Someone whose name you call, or whisper.
And he's right there waiting.
Someone who hums a lullaby,
And holds you close, as you drift off.
Someone who seems to just glitter, in the Sunlight,
Whose eyes are often Topaz,
Warm,
And Reassuring.
Someone who takes you to dinner,
And ignores the pretty waitress.
Someone who follows you,
Watches you always,
Secretly, Just to be sure..
You're always okay.
Someone Romantic,
Yet has a good sense of humor.
Someone Ancient, Yet Young.
Who'll save your life, No matter what.
Who cries when you're injured.
Someone who cleans out even the deadliest wounds,
However impossibly hard it may be.
Someone to take you to your prom,
Dispite your complaints,
Who teaches you to waltz,
As you stand on his feet.
Someone who just knows when it's time.
When forever really means forever.
And takes you away,
For years to come.

Although he isn't at all like Twilight series Edward.

*sigh* I wish i could get a guy like Edward. Perfect in almost every way. I could swear i met a vampire once. I never got to see if his skin was like marble, and he was always at skool on a sunny day, but not on rainy days. (i thinks he sparkles in the rain^_^) He was very old fashoned, was very beautiful and pale, and he hung out with the outcasts. (me and my buds) LOL i miss him so much. I was hugged twice by a vampire!

I favoured this piece a couple of months ago, loving it intensely. I just read the book Twilight for the first time, so now I know where the inspiration came from. Now that I know where it's from, I like it even more, but I thought it was beautiful months ago, which is proved by my remembrance: everybody dreams of finding an Edward. It's a great poem. It deserves more than just be here on this site. You have a talent. Though I get it that you're inspired by Twilight. I know I am. Good luck with the further pieces.
