Thanks, if you are ever interested, we could do an ATC trade with butterflies. I would be happy to paint you one.

You make a piece of high quality artwork that is 2 and a half inches by 3 and a half inches and you trade it with someone else. I like to paint watercolors so when I make an ATC I paint mine. Some people do graphite or acrylics or collage whatever they like. I have one that is made out of metal and welded. I have one that I traded with a child and he drew a smiley face with a marker. (He was in an ATC class that I was teaching at our local library) I think they are fun and they don't take as long as a big picture.

Of all the recent ATCs you've uploaded, this one is my favorite. Its very delicate and pretty.
I've been thinking about doing some ATC trades for a while but I've been way too busy to think about it so far. I did buy some cute little miniature ATC-sized easels though. Its funny because I had been thinking about doing bug portraits on the ATCs as well, or maybe some still-lifes with itty-bitty subjects.

I am suprised at how many people liked that ATC. It was not my favorite of the four I painted. If you would like to do a trade let me know. I would be up for it. It doesn't matter to me if you take a while to finish it, I won't mind the wait. It really is a lot of FUN!

Its so hard to predict what people are going to like sometimes. I had an art show tonight and there were a few pieces that I almost didn't bring because I didn't like them, and strangely enough, I had more people requesting prints and asking about those pieces than any others.
I would totally be up for doing a trade. You'd be my first :-D

Since this is your first trade you can pick our topic.
I know what you mean about unpredictability. I bought a painting from an artist that I really liked and she admitted to me that she didn't like it that much but just decided to bring it along to the art fair. She never expected it to sell, but I loved it. You just never know. It sounds like your show was pretty successful.
