lol,i dunno you ever read nordic myth or not, but i remember some story (i forgot who is it, maybe loki XD ) when someone makes thor dressed in woman to outwit a giant or troll king, because the giant or troll king want to marry goddess freya, i dnt know what happen for all d story line, but that's possible thor dressed in woman

i prefer myth, well i dunno they're can really 'dying' or not, but they're kind of alien, and can reborn by himself,
i like neil gaiman teori about gods in 'americans gods' novel.they're dying because of losing worshipers and they'll do anything to keep them still exis. and yes in that novelbook Odin and Loki is true partner, bcause they are

Well, I don't think gods are real also. But when I read the book (any book at all) all the characters are real for me and I worry about them and take their troubles to my heart. Especially their deaths.
And Marvel... It didn't messed the myths, it plagiarized them. There's just another stories with the same names of characters. I don't blame them for it.

plagiarism is when you copycat someone stuff,but not with marvel ,yes that was marvel,for exsample is when odin lost his eye, marvel version = when odin fought again the giant, myth version odin sacrifice himself to worldtree and lost his eye for knowledge or wisdom (maybe both) and many different version between them.sorry if i made it like debate section
