Description While sometimes it is necessary to adjust the light on scenes of this nature, in this specific circumstance, patience and timing paid off.

I had been watching this scene for a while as I was taking other images. But the lighting was all wrong. Then as I watched, a small break formed in the clouds and the sun dappled my scene. The problems I had been having with exposure latitude disappeared with the arrival of the sun beams, the the exposure worked.

that warmth is natural at this time of year, it is part of the beauty of fall. There is a tendency I have found amongst people to remove it, but the quality of light to me is just too beautiful to play with.
