I honestly don't remember how to spell it in English but it is a word in an African language for a pile of rocks situated in a grassy plain.

Trees are very patient...these live in a very beautiful, if harsh, place, after all, and they see and are seen by the clouds and sky all day and all night, every day and every night...The are doing the best they can, with what they have to work with, since they do live in a rock pile...

I really love these trees, ever since I saw them about 2 years ago, I have been drawn back again and again. I think they represent something to me, and so they draw me. Personally, I think the trees thrive here, while they are surrounded by rocks, the soils beneath them is fertile.
All of the rocks have been sold but not yet needed, so they remain as they are. And it strikes me that once the rocks are removed, the trees may very well loose the protection that they offer, will be cut down and the area used for crops. All of life as we all know is transitory (This too shall pass), so for now, I will enjoy the beauty that these trees bring to this world.
