Description
The fourth of a 12-14 photo calendar project ... old forgotton houses done in High Dynamic Range. I have done 6 so far..This was shot summer 2005 on a drive back an old farm road near Sioux Lookout Ontario. 6 images bracketed at 1/3EV

This house has seen better days!
I so like the maroon colored roof contrasting against the deep blue sky. It's eye catching!
The green hues of the grass is really awakening the whole picture.

everytime you post another of these old houses i am reminded of my youth when red brick houses with green shingled roofs were everywhere ... so with these one's i'm never sure if it's you or the memory that takes my breath away

I love how it almost seems like the house is leaning. The angle you took this at is wonderful! I also love the smokey clouds above, it just adds to the whole feeling of the photograph.

nice photo mate...quick question. when you say 6 images bracketed at 1/3EV, are you saying the final result is an average of those six images or did you do a multiple exposure or i am i just confusing myself

Did you ever find out what was happen there? Actually the house don't look so old and ruinous that it simply collapsed. Maybe it had an unpleasant meeting with a truck...lol
However, it's another great shot which invite you to think about the story behind this scene.

houses never stay empty or abandoned long without being knocked down around here.(probably the lack of urban space) it's cool that you can find places like this

Like the way u captured the shadows on the subject it greatly enhances the feeling of dilapidation
Another thing how u used the greens, drawing the eye from the grass to roof to tree line
