Description These four deviations collaged represent four different "lessons" at Walt Disney's MGM Studios at the end of the Animation Tour. It is no longer necessary to complete the tour in order to be part of the art class, one only needs to enter the exit through the art shop. The Stitch was difficult because I didn't get there in time for a table and had to use my knee to get the paper up high enough in order to draw ~ it is a fun time and I recommend it. The paper gets kinda squashed walking around the park, let alone getting it home, but it is still a wonderful souvenir!

Yes it is. At the end of the Animation tour that has been truncated over the years in favor of a large gathering at the end with Meet and Greets, art and picture opportunities, there is a waiting area to wait to go into the room with the artist. There used to be an artist in a room mid-way through the tour that simply drew a picture to show the crowd but now "lessons" can be taken. Since a guest can get to the lessons through the back of the art store, it is possible to have a lesson, leave, get back in line and have another lesson over and over until sick of it ~ Parks Gal

If we go back down September-ish we need to do the "get back in line" thing and get all the characters.

I take it you want to go to Jenny's for a week or two to clean and maybe add to the murals

Well, we can. We're probably due for it, and she'll be happy for the company. Silly Jenny

And I can fix that eye on Belle

I didn't know they did that. and its free??? I wanna do it. I actually (during the tour) had taken my sketch book when I was younger and wanted to show it to whomever the animator was. I never did. I should have...maybe they would have said something cool and I'd be more determined to do the animation thing. LoL.

Wish I could have had Eeyore. Wanted to take other classes but there wasn't always time over the last several trips. We always pack so much into the trips time gets used up quickly... then we always have to stop and take a zillion pictures in hopes a few of them come out....

That's really funny! Because my tennis coach just came back from there and took an art lesson to draw Donald Duck! So he tried to re-draw it on my paper! So cool!

It's just cool that you submit that when it just happened to my coach!
I dunnoe...

I've heard from a few other people who have taken the class. It is such a cool thing to do and the drawing is a keeper! Not too many things are "free" at Disney

I would probably draw better than the instructor.....or not...but it would be funneh!
A hamburger there prolly costs $10 lol^^

I think a hamburger meal is around $8 for a hamburger, some fries and a medium drink. I don't eat hamburgers but it seems to me the cost is around there. At Planet Hollywood it is very pricey for a hamburger or anything else they have. Twice I've had coupons I've passed on to get a free "meal" as long as want I salad or pasta but have eaten there before and won't take another chance due to cross-contamination with all the peanuts they use in their meals and preparation.

You probably would draw better than the instructor! One deviator posted a picture saying she didn't bother to do the drawing the instructor was teaching and chose her own. Of course, hers was simply awesome!

She did her own, that must have made the instructor feel......funny^^ LOL

Everyone probably learned from the person instead of the instructor
