Thank you. When Epcot first opened took a picture of the much shorter trees and couldn't help but update the picture some twenty-five years later

Actually it is Walt Disney World. I've never been to Disneyland either. Disneyland is in Anaheim, California and WDW is in Lake Buena Vista, Florida abjunct to Orlando. I really like the angle of the shot, too, as when EPCOT first opened the trees were good-sized but smaller, of course, and my daughter has a puzzle of how the palms look . Like to keep track how much they are growing.

What part of Canada are you from? Your gallery is just so colorful! I marked you as a so I can go back and give your gallery a better look ~ Parks Gal

We're probably not that far apart geographically-speaking ~ I live in Youngstown, Ohio and it is only a 3 1/2 to 4-hour drive to Niagara Falls, Canada ~ my kids traveled to Toronto on field trips but I never made it there myself. Have been all the way East to Point-au-Pic (sp), Quebec, but not upwards. Have been to Windsor a couple times while visiting Detroit but that was decades ago!! Now hubby and I have to get passports just to drive into Canada for the day. Used to only need our birth certificates, driver's licenses and marriage license (? ~ don't know why) but the rules are changing. Wonder why it is always the law-abiding that gets put out???

wow, that is pretty close! I live just outside of Toronto, not too far from the boarder. Im actually going to Walsh University in North canton Ohio for my Accounting major Im so excited!
aww, you must come to Canada more often! up north is soo beautiful, especially if you are into camping
yeah, the new boarder rules kind of suck, though the canucks are pretty lax about it all.
anyways, I really like the US. Im in Kentucky right now for the Rolex and I must say Kentucky is awsome!!!

Kentucky is quite beautiful. Been there many times. Cannot get over you're going to Walsh! Cannot imagine those out-of-state fees ! Do like Canada. Just have to get my passport and go back

True, you can get your pictures posted but I'm still going through thousands of pictures taken on my last two trips to Disney World to post and/or put in my stock site!

It got to seventy degrees today but a cold front is coming through again! Will this winter ever end????

My pictures are backed up at least five times. Mainly on my external hard-drive, again onto the regular hard-drive, again on my hubby's Mac, again on my daughter's computer in Columbus and lastly on the laptop ~ as you can see , I don't want to take any chances of losing them!

I was standing right under them and held the camera up in the air to take the picture. It reminded me of a puzzel the kids had when they were little that was purchased at WDW of the Palms by Spaceship Earth when they were much shorter ~ they certainly have grown since the park opened!!

I've never been to Walt Disney World. I grew up in Los Angeles, and so we went to Disneyland every year.

They are huge! Just think that they've been growing for 25-years (cannot believe how the time has flown since Epcot opened) and were probably good size to begin with as Disney likes to use full-grown, or as close to full-grown vegetation, as they can get!

Thank you for the ~ Parks Gal
