Merry Christmas to all my Watchers!Courthouse in Newark, Ohio, the day after Thanksgiving 2010 after the lighting ceremony.

Wreath is part of the program ~ I used filters, effects and a render to get it to look like it is
Font ~ Lucida Blackletter ~ used a plastic effect, drop-shadow then two bevels for the look

I'm from Licking County originally, I went to school in Johnstown. My husband went to Newark High. My brother is Sherm Byers who owns Burning Tree Golf Course. There are several deviants from Newark, two being `Arete-Eirene-Phile and ~Fubelle !!

Well, I'm glad your back! It was SO cold the night Tina and I were taking pictures of the courthouse my batteries died on me just after a few pictures. I did post a few on the stock site.
New Year's eve was quiet. Took in a movie, got something to eat at a restaurant that is always open then came home to watch the ball drop. Some fireworks went off in the neighborhood and some were directly over my house. It took a bit to realize the direction but Steve and I went to the back porch just in time to see some of the yard on fire from falling shrapnel from the fireworks. It was great!

Awwww That sounds perfect! I love new years eves fireworks, I have a great view of the whole neighbourhood from my window, that's as close as I like to get to them though

I hear that. I've have taken fireworks and Christmas-light pictures when it has been ice-cold out ~ after Tina and I's foray of taking pictures at the zoo a year ago January 2nd, on the coldest day of winter during a blizzard, it took me THREE days to recover!

I was such a hippie... but I was clean. I made sure to bathe everyday, which is alot more than I can say for some other college students during that time. My hair was long and straight and I would practically sit on it, I had wire-framed glasses and I would wear bell-bottom jeans that were two-feet longer than my feet. The "bells" were a good two-feet wide, too, which made for a really scrunchy, grungy look. I was way ahead of my time

Lol I remember the bell bottoms, we called them Loons, and my mother thought I looked like a cart horse in them. I had short hair, but I wasn't allowed to grow it

Oh, it is beautiful. I have additional pictures on my stock site and a whole folder of pictures to post. I have thousands of pictures to post on my stock site, but I want to run them through PS Elements first. I used to just post the pictures, even if they were a little crooked, but many deviants would complain they couldn't figure out how to rotate the pictures

That does sound like quite a bit of work, but it's incredibly sweet of you to go ahead and do that for them. I'm sure they appreciate it, or at least I hope that they do.
