Yes, it is sad Disneyland won't have Tower of Terror any longer, but at least this one will be at Walt Disney World for awhile!

Great shot! I love this ride, the first time I went on it I hung onto my friend, but I went on it a second time I put my hands up, it's so fun! 8D

Next time you go, put a penny on your leg and watch it fly up in the air when the ride drops! I always lift up a bit even with the seatbelt on. When there were just lapbars, instead of seatbelts, I would lift up alot, but now it isn't as bad. I can go on the ride 3 or 4 times in a row before I think I'll throw up!

Oh, it is! My daughter and I will sometimes go to Walt Disney World in September when it is "off season", so the lines aren't long. One year we got on Rockin' Roller Coaster, got off, ran around, got back on, got off, ran around and got back on... four times! Then we went on TOT four times. That is when I realized I just might hurl

I rode in that and to make it clear when I first went on this ride I thought the elevator was in the libery but it wasn't. The tv in that room came on and oh god that music scared me and gave me chills, finally when we got on the ride (none of you guys laugh) I lean on my mother's arm and stuff and screaming my head off.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

WDWParksGal In reply to Alleycat252009 [2010-06-30 21:07:04 +0000 UTC]

See, now, I'm way too busy pointing out the window getting my daughter to look at stuff during the brief times the doors open during the ride. When we go to look at our picture after the ride, there's me, yabbing away with my arm out pointing

The library fools you because you think you're close to getting on the ride but then have to get into another queue ~ the music was quite familiar to me from the TV Show "Twilight Zone" since I used to watch it all the time when I was little. In Black and White. On a Black and White TV no less!

Oh sweet so your saying you watched it when you was little I never knew that show because I was little. But when my family was in the library and the tv came on and showed us how the hotal became hunted and the lighting striked the tower I gasped while my mother was behind me and said "Wow Alley you was right about the tower getting striked by lighting." XD

Does El VI mean, Elements 6?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

WDWParksGal In reply to Gymnart [2008-10-24 00:10:34 +0000 UTC]

Yeah.... I still have III loaded because the animated spacing for avatars and stamps actually works. Am not able to adjust the time between panes of IV or VI!!! The little option is there but not clickable ~ but VI does have a lot more features than IV or III so I use it most of the time

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gymnart In reply to WDWParksGal [2008-10-24 15:09:13 +0000 UTC]

That's weird how that worked. Sounds kinda like IV and VI are actually beta versions, lol. Or they could have made the time adjustments work a bit differently

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

WDWParksGal In reply to Gymnart [2008-10-26 03:47:10 +0000 UTC]

For the cost you would think they would work better, but they don't. One day maybe I can afford the $800 for actual PhotoShop

Gymnart In reply to WDWParksGal [2008-10-26 15:44:52 +0000 UTC]

Or you can try Gimp. It's free. It even has an animation feature. I've tried it myself.

It is amazing you can do such detail in GIMP, a FREE program ~ I've spent hundreds of dollars on the elements programs and my Wacom Tablet. I've got to try that program out

Gymnart In reply to WDWParksGal [2008-10-29 16:04:59 +0000 UTC]

Don't worry. It takes long for some to adjust to a new program. I know that I can get rather "cranky" when I'm learning a new program and stuff is not where I expect it to be.

Anyhow, I'm here if you need.

Ahh... so you're an old-time fan... Awesome. I rode it several times when I went to Disney a week or so ago. One of the times I dragged my friend along and couldn't stop laughing thoughout the entire ride, which kinda creeped her out... xD;
You're very welcome. :]

Usually I'm yabbing during the ride, pointing out neat stuff I can see when the door flies open. So, while people are screaming I'm not paying attention. In the picture after exiting the ride, I'm usually pointing or just sitting looking a bit bored ~ one time my daughter and I rode Rockin' Roller Coaster three times in a row then Tower twice. Only time I thought I was actually going to urp

SaoriGatsu In reply to WDWParksGal [2008-03-21 17:35:14 +0000 UTC]

Haha, that sounds like one of my friends. XD In the picture of mine after exiting the ride, I was cracking up while the rest of my friends were screaming, it was pretty funny.
Oooh, the Rockin' Roller Coaster is great~! I just wish they would have made it longer, the length of it was a tad disappointing. ^ ^;;

I need to go to Six Flags to ride more rollercoasters... they're so addicting. x]

WDWParksGal In reply to SaoriGatsu [2008-03-22 01:52:54 +0000 UTC]

I agree Rockin' should be a lot longer. I was just talking about that very thing with my husband earlier when one of Aerosmith's songs came up on the iPod!

Talk about Roller Coasters.... I live about and hour and a half from Cedar Point ~ the Roller Coaster capital of the world

Yeeees, definitely. *nods* I was on it and having a blast, and then it pauses with that "VIP" thing... and then the ride was over. I was like, "Maaan.. seriously?? Dx " It was fun, nonetheless.

Wow, you do? I'm so jealous...! You get to be around such fun, all the time! xD I wish I could ride more of them! Me and my mom were thinking of going to Six Flags this summer. We thought it would be a great idea. :]

Six Flags is always a good choice. In Ohio there are several theme parks and Hershey, PA is only three hours away. Have been to both Busch Gardens, the one in Virginia and the one in Florida. Have been to Kings Island in Cincinnati and Kings Dominion in Virginia. Silver Springs, Universal Studios Florida, Cypress Gardens, Sea World... I get around

My gosh! I'm extremely impressed, seriously. I hope that one day when I get older, I can go to all of those places... most of which I haven't even heard of! xD;
Getting around is a cool thing, though. Gives you plenty of exhilirating experiences. :3

Is that how you found all of the theme parks you went to?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

WDWParksGal In reply to SaoriGatsu [2008-03-22 17:25:07 +0000 UTC]

No, actually a friend recommended it to me several years ago so I could keep updated on all the theme parks. Hubby and I went to Kings Island outside of Cincinnati, Ohio in 1972 when it opened and had our honeymoon there. Went to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio that same year. Did not make it Walt Disney World until 1977, but since then have travled around to many theme parks. We are simply a theme park family!!

SaoriGatsu In reply to WDWParksGal [2008-03-22 19:11:45 +0000 UTC]

Waiii... honeymoon~! So romantic!
That's awesome to be a theme park family, though. It makes life more interesting and family bonds better, you know? Especially since you all can go together and have fun together as a family, instead of seperating like a lot of families do nowadays.

Believe me, Everest isn't one of my favorites... I prefer Rockin' Roller Coaster but can usually ride one or two times a trip. Have been on it maybe five times since it opened. The Hulk at Islands Universal is worse. Have been on it several times and it has great loops but it shakes my brain back and forth ~ there aren't too many rides I won't go on.
