Thank you so much ~ did my best to make it look like the cake my niece had ordered for her wedding. Named the cake "Shelly's Cake" in honor of my niece, albeit it has been used in other weddings. Thank you, too for the ~ ~ Parks Gal

The Crafts were among the first deviations posted so they are either in the back of the gallery or in the scraps. Harder to get noticed that way ~ Parks Gal

yeah, I rarely get to scraps unless someone points them out. now-a-days, it's hard just getting the time to visit galleries, let alone scraps!

Same here. I try to check out scraps whenever I can. Wish the would come up on rotation out of the scraps but have to check the scrap-fave list ~ Parks Gal

RE: Wedding "cake": Yes, I made the entire thing from scratch. The top section comes off to retrieve the gift cards. I entered it in a local fair one year and it won fourth place. The plastic-canvas "cake" isn't difficult to make but it is time consuming. I used silk flowers on it, which cost more than other types of artificial flowers but very worth it in the end since I made the cake in the early nineties and it is still in flawless shape. I wrote down the pattern for a friend, so if you would like it I can type it in and email it to you. Thanks for checking out my site. My daughter has cool pictures she has painted and taken, along with rugs and cross-stitches on her site if you want to check her site out, too !
