I find it funny how a game that contains so little enemies managed to be something so immersive and rewarding in terms of gameplay.
But then again, who doesn't want to fight giant monsters you literally have to drag yourself up onto?
Nice work on the shadows and colours, especially in the landscape. Well chosen and blended. The only thing that looks out of place is the flash of the blade. Like it doesn't quite belong.

Thanks. Wasn't that hard to get the colours of the game about right. It's pretty high-contrast and they use brightness blurs on everything.
And I get what you mean, the flash of the blade doesn't really look like light, which is probably because the background's even brighter and I made the flash effect too cartoony for a realistic setting.
Then again... I am really really lazy at the mo, I'll just leave it that way : P

Well they are gonna have a new game on PS3 by the Ico team. It has big monsters in it too. But, they like to change things up far too much for it to be a sequel, and technical Ico *is* the sequel to Shadow. Guess we just have to wait and see what they come up with :3

I did order Ico just a few days ago actually. About that PS3 game... I dunno. "My friend, the fluffy baby gryphon"? Doesn't sound as awesome as "16 giant guardians made of earth and stone, go kill them all!"
