so, the next most popular choice in the poll was Nightcrawler.I did this a few weeks ago but only now I've had the time to scan it and whatnot.
He's supposed to be BAMFing, hence the silly pink clouds.

I remember seeing this ages ago and I fell in love with it straight away.I think there's something wrong with your scanner coz this looks way better in yer book.
There's something very bright and friendly about his appearance which is rare for someone sprouting those sort of fangs.

true, scanners nearly always murder good colours. tried to fix in photoshop but there you go.... thanks for the kind words broseph!

I just don't think scanners do a picture justice. It's weird looking at the old S&B strips, seeing how rubbish they look on screen but they actually look decent in the sketchpad.
As for the kind words, well, you know I'm a harsh critic, so if I was something's good, it's pretty damn good er, dudeseph?

Silly pink clouds are always a good thing
This is awesome, like all the others of course. I especially like how the silly pink clouds reflect off him as well, in a sort of way (I'm having trouble putting words together tonight!)

Hang on (runs to x-men comic) - pointy teeth but no overbite.
I was thinking more along the general physiogamy though - Nightcrawlers features are softer and less predatory with a tendency to classical heroism (plus curly hair).

Yes - I'm pretty sure I've commented on most or all of them - I'm loving this style you're developing wiff the watercolours - your knowledge and application of lighting and shade balances just right with the looser feel of the watercolours. its truly great stuff mate
