Looking at it from the critical eye, my take is that its a well designed piece of a popular Shojou series. Misaki's pleased expression, clothing, body positioning, and your use of color makes her, to be blunt, sexy. A decidedly different take from the Shojo style, though this probably follows the style of the Anime more. A minor gripe might be her left arm position, but it doesn't detract or disturb the work.
My major gripe is with the background. Don't get the feeling it compliments Misaki. Maybe it's just the green color, and, considering what's been drawn (Misaki in Red, holding a small box with strawberry design), maybe out of place.
Overall, this is definitely a good work. Again, this shows you put a lot of time into it.

Oh! No tenia jo notícies de que la segona temporada sortís un mes després que la temporada de primavera comencés. No seria el primer cop que un anime comença 4 episodis per darrera de la resta, pero és extrany perquè estic molt posat en tot aquest tema i no ho he vist enlloc. Que podria ser ja que el manga continua i en el seu moment es va dir que probablement tindria una segona temporada. També és cert que em sona que es digués que sortiria a la tardor del 2011, perquè tampoc està prevista com a serie d'estiu.
Però vaja, que no puc estar-ne el 100% segur.

Segons les llistes de 2ch, kaichou no figura entre les que s'han d'emetre ara. Pot ser que s'inclogués a l'estiu (tot i que tampoc es contempla) i més endavant no ho se

Wow really good art. <3 She looks very cute. I like how you colored her eyes especially. I'd agree with the critique that her thighs look off. I think maybe her left forearm looks off too in comparison to the position of her left hand.
I like the colorful cheerfulness of the piece, it's really nice looking.

It's great to know that I'm not the only artist who takes time to study art works. Indeed, there is still hope for this community. Art can still be appreciated. Yay! Alright. My turn! Here goes.
Her eyes seemed out of focused, as though she wasn't looking at anyone in particular. It may suggest that the gift is random for anyone who willingly accepts the gift. Or maybe, she's thinking of someone very close to her, perhaps a very strong crush on someone, to the point that she is lost in her own world. That's where the background comes in. The colors may not really match with the colors of her garment, but it may suggest that the world around her has nothing to do with the world inside of her. Her world may be written all over her shirt, and perhaps all around her would be the written translation. The little stripes on her red shirt seems to have a similar connection to that of the background. Very strongly expressed, it may suggest that no matter the gift, no matter the outward appearance, it is the thought that counts. This is what this pic seems to portray to me the most. Cute pic overall.
