I tried a different shading technic, i'd like to know what you think about it. ^^Made at school with 0,5 mechanical pencil.

Canine? It must be because of it's nose. But it's not a dog's nose, it's just a hole... like reptile nose. It might look different because it's just a sketch.
But watch D&D Monsters Manual's 195. page. There's the wyvern and i'm living in that world so it looks like a D&D wyvern.

it's not just the nose it's also the feathers behind the head are ruffled out and it looks more like wolf fur... and the length and shape of the whole nose makes it look fairly canine... great detail tho and the tail looks soo realistic! just like my iguana's! lol great job and keep up the good work ^^
