It's actually a Kusarigama. I think they are antique, though the one on the right looks like a piece of it came off. Fighters attack with the weapon by swinging the chain over their heads and swing it towards their opponents to entangle them which makes it easier to go in and strike them with the kama. The other option would be to use the iron ball at the end as a weapon, causing severe damage. They are good against swords or spears.
