I'm a biiiiiiit (lot) late with this, but horse birth takes at longest half an hour... actually, if it takes half an hour, something's wrong and one or both of them will probably die. Normally their birth takes between 10 to 15 minutes or slightly more or less (this includes 'preperations' as lying down and having cramps and such)

Your story and artwork is a refreshing inspiration. This is my favorite page so far because I love how much expression this young foal has for being just born. Oh the question that must be flying through the young one's mind.
