Personality:
Celeste is an active fawnling who loves to explore and play and make friends. However, for all the energy she has for doing what she wants to do, that energy seems to disappear as soon as she has to do something. She’s really not good at taking orders, and never has been, and when someone tells her what to do she hears it more as a suggestion. And if she doesn’t want to do something, then she won’t. She’s got too much else to do! Like nap in her eternally sparkly bed, or play with her pet pig Petunia. Luckily she is a sweet young doe so even if she’s not particularly obedient she would not likely get into too much trouble (and you can always follow the trail of sparkles to find her again)!

Even more than napping and playing, eating is her favorite thing. Her long and curly fur makes her look rather round to begin with but she also has quite a bit of chub on her. She just loves food and has never cared to attempt moderation. She also tends to eat when she’s sad, which in part due to some tragic events in her youth (the loss of two grandfathers and the betrayal of who she thought was one of her best friends), means she did not end up losing her baby fat as she grew. Her love of playing and exploring has helped her keep somewhat in shape but she will likely always be a bit plump.

Celeste is quirky and can be airheaded. She can lose her train of thought and zone out from time to time thinking about just about anything or maybe even nothing. This often makes her seem oblivious, and while she continues to be quite naive she is actually pretty sharp and is quite creative. Her mind often comes up with crazy ideas.

Celeste lives life enthusiastically. She is fascinated by all the routine wonders of the world, especially the rising and falling of the sun. She will never miss a sunrise or sunset (even if she may roll right back to bed after)! She is also excited to do just about anything that sounds interesting to her, especially with friends and family, and tends to find great joy in the little things and lives life to the fullest and with genuine love. It’s hard to keep her down, and she can be oblivious to the more cynical outlooks of many fawns.

For all of Celeste’s sweet, she certainly has some spice! Celeste doesn’t get angry often, but there are some situations that will ruffle her fur. This includes things as minor as being scolded for disobeying up to being picked on or insulted. Due to her strange appearance Celeste has been struggling with self esteem issues, but she often pushes these issues aside. And despite these demons she has a good amount of confidence and an awareness of what she deserves. Especially to fawnlings she doesn’t know well, animosity would be met with defiance and scorn. As carried over from her youth, if angered or displeased Celeste will scrunch up her nose unhappily and in some cases even flip her giant floof of a tail back and forth as she gives the other fawnling a piece of her mind. After most negative confrontations Celeste doesn’t often think much into it, and may even all but forget the incident by the end of the day. She has a lot of patience and easily forgives those who have wronged her. She doesn't know how to hold a grudge.

However due to her trusting nature, being hurt or betrayed by a fawnling she knows and likes disturbs and upsets her much more deeply than your everyday run-of-the-mill bully.

But that wouldn’t happen often, Celeste is generally forgiving and tends to think the best of everyone! She’s a little ray of sparkly sunshine.
Other Notes
Celeste has a pet pig named Petunia who will almost always be with her! This baby micro-pig was discovered by Knox when he was taking a trip near the beaches. He found the little piglet to be quite strange, assuming her to be some tiny boar or something. The little thing was alone, and it wouldn't leave him... so he eventually ended up taking it back with him. Celeste met the little pig during a visit one day and totally fell in love with her.... and vice versa! Knox let her take Petunia home with her and the two have been inseparable since.

Appearance:
While Celeste sports a medium light build, it's hard to tell for sure beneath her long curly fur. Due to her sole piebald defect, Celeste has wild and crazy curly coat hair! It's pretty much impossible to keep it clean and especially with her active personality she often has things stuck in it. Her hoofmaiden Hera is a great help with it though! It's not all fur however, Princess Celeste is also a bit of a chubby girl and even as she grows she does not lose her belly, she just loves eating too much! Celeste is largely white in color with beautiful and kind blue eyes full of spirit and love. Between these and her pink hooves and nose she can almost be considered beautiful by Glenmore standards. But unfortunately her gold splashes of color, even if sparse and pale, decrease her attractiveness by some margin. The story of Celeste's conception is... Well, it's a long story! But to make it short, Guardsman Datura and Princess Selene fell in love. It was a forbidden union, but they both made the mistake of sharing a night together. Selene hadn't bred with her Lord, Virgil, so the stag would know that she had cheated on him. After Selene's eldest, Wendigo, was betrothed she and Datura fled the herd, becoming renegades. They made their way up to the Needle for a while. During this time they met Orderic, a renegade. Both were skeptical for a while of him, due to his heritage, but they quickly became friends.

Selene and Datura knew that the life of a renegade was a dangerous one for their fawn. They were terrified of what would happen if they were caught...so a plan was devised. Orderic knew of a Lord named Thrice, who just so happened to be the betrothed of Wendigo's best friend, Ceren. Ceren just so happened to be expecting a fawn right around the time that Selene's was due. After some pulling of strings, Thrice agreed to take Datura and Celeste's fawn, snuggle it into his Glade, and pretend that it was a twin to his and Ceren's own fawn. It would be kept a complete secret and Ceren was more than willing to help her friend's mother.

Datura and Selene wandered back into the Glenwood, being cautious and staying hidden in Orderic's den. When Selene had her fawn, Thrice took the babe and smuggled her into his den. She was named Celeste and is now being raised by Ceren, under the watchful eye of unbeknownst sister Wendigo as well. The filly thrived and grew. She eventually came to have a rather peculiar pet named Petunia, given to her by her grandfather. The two are inseparable.

Upon entering her third year, it was discovered that Celeste had chroma magic. The filly was completely overjoyed, not yet realizing that it wasn't exactly an appreciated magic type within the herd...
