i havent been able to draw much because of my health so im really happy i managed to at least make this! another magical boy! his name is Renato and as u can see he can do water magic.ive been visiting a few beaches lately (here are some photos from a trip i took yesterday) and ive wanted to make an Ocean magical boy for a while. this song pushed me to make him sooner.
his wings are supposed to look like crashing waves.

mmnope! ive never heard of that word. i was thinking along the lines of seaweed lol. and also a comparison of the darkness of the deepest parts of the ocean and outer space.

Well that explains the pretty star pattern. Though en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nudibran⦠;
Nudibranches are essentially sea slugs, they come in a wide variety and are very bright and colorful with soft projections that look like the wings and coat tails on your magical boy.

i always visit bay areas because they're nearby where i live, but im going to drive out to the actual pacific ocean shore next month and im looking forward to it.Β
and thank you! thats not weird at all omg i really like that mental image. i had this idea for him that he spends most of his life deep in the water, away from the other boys. so treasure finding would probably be a nice little hobby :0

i love i love i l o v e. these colours are gorgeous, i especially love how the deep blue of his outfit glimmers, and the little bits of pink stand out and sort of tie everything together. this is just really really cool <333
