It is done! I have succeeded!
For the past couple of weeks, I have toyed with the idea of gaining a photograph of the rabbits that lurk my complex at night. I first spotted them while taking out the trash and thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I spotted a certain shape through the darkness. I approached and the shape darted. I tried countless times to get a clear picture but fell short due to the lighting and darkness.
Well, today, like for the past couple of days, I opened my backdoor to find a rabbit only a couple yards away. I ran inside and grabbed my camera, and for about half an hour I played chicken and chess with the creature. Finally, I snuck up to it from around the corner of a townhouse to find it only a yard away. I carefully aimed and scored this picture. I was so excited!
Sorry about the quality, but I find it fitting. Hardy creatures like rabbits clinging to the edge of society, trying to survive in the middle of the cities like this.
