Le pennellate si vedono apposta: per quanto sia tentata da prodotti piu' "fotorealistici", alla fine preferisco lasciarli un po' meno raffinati... C;

non ne sono molto sicura ma credo di si! btw non ho ancora iniziato a usare painter perche sono in un periodaccio!Ma appena mi decido a mollare sto cazzo di lavoro vedrai! Possibilmente prima di gennaio..Va` che mi devo operare agli occhi e c`ho una paura fottuta di lasciarci del tutto la vista( che e` gia molto poca)..quindi devo approfittare del poco tempo che mi rimane..brrr!Magari pero` i miei scarabocchi migliorano XDDD

Nonetheless, you can help me on this: did I overdo the leather texture on his jacket? Is the bg too "weak"? These are the point I struggled more with... D:

Hmmm, the textures on the jacket are fine but the black space does look a bit strange on second thought. I had no idea the jacket textures were not painted by hand actually, also I think if the background was a more dynamic it would shift the focus away from the figure, especially since there is not much variation on colour. Hope this is somewhat helpful

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I've noticed the square-ish things on his jacket (better say, a friend asked me what it was), and I guess it's part of the texture that I didn't cancel properly (in my defense, on my laptop screen it just looked pitch black! XD); I went back to it and tried to adjust it, but I'm afraid something is still there...

Well, yeah, I can see the strokes, but it's still very realistic overall; and honestly... I'm not really fond of these absolutely photorealistic paintings (I mean, what's even artistic about it?), so it's perfectly fine to keep your painting a little rough, I would say
