you'll get one from me

Looks awesome, very nice idea and good execution, The perspective is very good.
I do think if you add a bit more stars it will look less painted and more like a photo(that is if you want to achieve that look)

i dont have any more to say then good work!!

Interesting piece. Looks very traditional, I can almost feel the texture of canvas on my screen. The sense of depth is there, you don't kick it off quite as well as one could have hoped unfortunately, preventing this from being a truly great picture. I'm struggling with the same issues myself more often than not, and am probably not the best to give advice on how to achieve a true sense of depth. I think, however, that one issue is the constant amount of detail though. In a scene like this the closer the object the blurrier and fainter the details, the farther away the crisper.

That being said I love the concept and the intriguing execution. It's all very emotive. Good job!

Thanks for detailling your comment. While i work with sharpness and depth in my photos, i've never done that in my space-creations. It's a great suggestion. Thank you!

Hope to see you around on DA. It's great getting these kind of comments.

This is very cool, expressive and pretty.
I find it hard to critique, for example, in my opinion, the planets being formed should look a bit more 'solid', for they are becoming planets, but this is my vision, and in you work, your vision whould appear. What else? The very red part closer to the right down corner seems very solid and resembles muscles or something. It's poetic because the space really looks like inside our bodies, but it's somewhat artistic, because it doesn't look like it That much.
I really like that upper planet's moon or little planet there, maybe it's the color, I don't know, but it blends well.
Hey, what you used to make this?

witam In reply to obscurecult [2010-07-21 07:00:49 +0000 UTC]

I first had them rather solid, but that was too hard since they are still forming. So i thought to try to get the idea of gasplanets still compacting into a sphere. But it's a point of discussion within me as well ..

The nebulae got a bit more solid (less fluffy detail) by scaling down and putting it up with less quality. I only noticed afterwards that it created that red solid area. Unfortunately these things happen because i do this to protect me to some extent. But you're absolutely right. It should be more nebulae.

Thank you for your detailled commenting. I appreciate it and learn from it. Although it does create even more debate within myself, it's good to get this kind of comment. So thank you!

Oh i used photoshop.

Hope to see you around!
