Yeah I saw and it was impressive, the Ultra Instinct form was interesting however design wise minus the silver eyes were once again rather disappointing

Well, I'm pretty sure that the Ultra Instinct was meant to be Goku's Ultimate transformation. And, I'm guessing Toriyama wanted his Ultimate transformation to look Iconic to Goku. And, their isn't much of anything more iconic to Goku then his base form.

Plus, this isn't a Super Saiyan transformation either. It's a power up anyone can obtain. Including the gods.
