Amazing shape! I am tempted to give Mandelbulb a try when I see this.

Thank you ever so much, Barbara! I really appreciate that wonderful comment! I'm still a babe in the woods when it comes to MDB3D, but I am determined to learn it and actually be able to make cool images without so much frustration. A lot of time, it's like "WTF"? But, I hope with practice, I'll get better at it.

Thank you very much, Linda! I'm so glad you liked it. I'm so unsure about my Mandelbulbs, I'm hesitant to upload them. I really appreciate the encouragement!

Thank you so much for your kind words. I was playing around with it again today, but nothing jumped out at me, so I closed it with plans to revisit another day. One of these days...

Thank you so much, Jackie! Yes, it appears I have been bit, but I don't seem to be moving at a particularly fast pace when it comes to feeling more comfortable with it. Maybe a smidgen, but I still have soooo far to go!

Thank you, Gary! Actually, this is my 4th Mandelbulb total. I did one based on 's wonderful negative tutorial and one just playing around with some params from Fractal Forums, which is a great source of info and params.

I seem to remember one before these, now that I think.

Thank you, Gypsy! Do you know how to rotate image in the main window? I'm still not clear on those "Rotate around X, Y and Z axis" buttons at the bottom. I keep thinking that I have to click one of those, say if I want to rotate the image 45 degrees or something. But, it never works like I think it will.

Well I am not the smartest cookie in the bag - ha ha - But what I do to rotate images is go into the Navigator . I click on the 3D Nav button on the top left and it brings up your image in a window and you can zoom in and out rotate and use the slide and looking tools that can change things dratically.
