If only i were into Skyrim... But i have Kingdom Hearts and Pokemon, and i'm already obsessed enough as it is...
That being said, i've always liked the customization of the Skyrim Series, and trust me people have tried (not successfully) to get me to play because you can be a cat person. Though i've been told there's a race factor when choosing this type of character? Like evidently most NPC's are very racists toward this type of character??? i don't know, it's been years since someone tried to explain Skyrim to me.
All i know about recently are the fucking glitches that are laughable and the "Before i took an arrow to the knee" thing which is evidently a way of saying one is married??? Odd way of putting it tbh....

That's fair.
I'm not surprised that's what people tried to bait you with. Though what race you choose, tends to correlate with the type of character you play as since they all have their own perks. Like, a cat person would be best suited to be a stealthy character, same with a Wood Elf, if you wanna be a sole magic user, one of the other two elf races are best, if you wanna have an absolute tank character, Orcs and Nords are the best, etc. But in truth, you can level up any character to have any kind of perks, it just matters what you train them for and what skills you choose to improve. It's just easier with the races meant for it since they start out with them as bonuses.....
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, that's true. Pretty much any race you choose other than Nord (they're the 'natives' of Skyrim and the majority), you're gonna get passing comments from NPCs. I think the elf races have it the worst, but the Khajiit definitely get it too. Nothing impedes you from finishing quests or going places or anything like that though. Just random NPCs you meet on the street. There are a couple that are specifically programmed to be racists, but the other 90% of NPCs don't give a rat's ass what you are. It's actually kinda funny with the guards in the cities tbh. They have random dialogue they're programmed to say and racist comments are one of them for some, bu they'll comment on the factions you choose to join, good or bad. So I'll have a guard praising me for saving the world, and then a literal second later he's calling me a filthy assassin. XD
I actually haven't come across many glitches in my play-throughs and I'm honestly a little bummed about it. XD Yeah, that's what I heard too (the guards do actually say it a lot). I guess because if you take an arrow to the knee, you kneel on the other like proposing???? That's how I've always interpreted it....

Yeah, that much i knew. That your story and styles are different depending on the character you choose. But i was told like, the racism is really bad with the cat people.
NPC randomized dialogue is hilarious. Kingdom Hearts doesn't have that much variety in the random dialogue, so it's not long before you memorize said dialogue in a given area...
IDK i honestly found that out recently that that's what it meant. When i first heard the saying it was in a skyrim meme compilation that someone was watching. I legit thought someone was going around taking out knees with arrows...

Yeah.....Hmmm, I mean, I've played as them more times than I care to count and so far I haven't noticed anything worse than the others. The more humanoid races don't get it as bad, but even for the others its just the odd passing comments. From my personal experience, the elves get more comments than the other races though. But even then, nothing serious or impeding. Just the odd, passing, NPC comment....
Yeah, pretty much. Skyrim has a fair bit of variety, but even then it gets a bit repetitive sometimes.
I didn't find out until like, a year ago. XD Yeah, it was a huge meme back when Skyrim was big and everyone made it out to be the literal sense of the phrase.

Huh... yeah, like i said its been awhile, and i'm pretty sure i was only half paying attention to my friend when they were talking me through Skyrim. I think i made a character and then i... killed a chicken maybe? and then i stopped. For all i know that Chicken's family could have come for revenge and killed my character. (It's been 5+ years since that)
Whenever we heard someone spout that saying we would go "Yeah? Well i took a missile to the face and i'm still kicking ass! No excuses!" (In Mass Effect, there's a squad mate by the name of Garrus Vakarian. He ends up taking a missile to the face, having a few nasty scars, but he gets back up, straps a gun on and saves the universe, so really there's no excuse)

Yeah, that sounds about right. Except it wouldn't be the chicken's family. It be the entire fucking town. One of the first times I played I accidentally punched and killed a chicken in the first town you go to and I got a bounty of $5 and the whole town came after me with swords and maces....
Okay, yeah. That one's a bit more justified than an arrow to the knee, whether it be literal or figurative.

Well... I guess either way i don't have a character anymore... pretty sure they're dead at this point. XD
I hope you got out of that okay.
NO EXCUSES!! Why let an arrow stop you???

Exactly!

I had a feeling you might have been working on something.
Thanks!
One hundred percent. She feels and acts like she's the underpaid janitor of Skyrim, always dealing with everything and doing stuff for people she reaaaaally doesn't wanna do. XD I'm not gonna lie, I haven't even started the main questline with her yet. She's level 30 and I still haven't even gone to meet the Greybeards yet..... Thanks! As much as I love the Nightingale armor, I wanted to spruce it up a bit and personalize it a bit further than the game allows, same with the werewolf form. Yeah, you'll have to thank my brother for that. XD
Thank you! She is a very soft and sweet person...who ya know, commits murder on her spare time, as one does. Honestly, no matter which character I'm playing as, I always do all of the questlines that I enjoy anyways and then having the character identify with which ones I want anyways. Like, I'm still doing the Dark Brotherhood questline with Ansel because I enjoy it, but it's not gonna be part of her character. It was actually a very interesting questline as well, but I'll leave it up to you. My favourite questline still has got to be the Companions tho. I love those guys.....Yeah, that's about right. She's pretty friendly when she's not on the job. So as long as you're not a target, you should be fine in her eyes. XD
OOOoooooh, YES!!!!!!!! I would love to see that!!!!! I'm very curious to see what she's like.
That sucks, damn....I have literally nothing to do this Summer and I am dying of boredom, trying to find something.....

XD I don't even know if I still have Bishop's files on my PS3 tbh.
Well, at least she's enjoying herself. Ansel, eh, not so much. Maybe deeeep down she is....maybe. XD I've gotten a few quests in now since after writing my last comment I figured I should at least start them. I think I'm on the....third or fourth one now? I just find the main questline so dull....that and I am not a huge fan of Delphine.....
In terms of looks, I think my favourite is either the Wolf Armor from the Companions or the Ebony Armor as well. Those look awesome. In terms of use, Nightingale is my favourite. Though it might get replaced depending on how good the Guild Master's Armor is. Never got it before. I now realize I should let you know this since I've been playing Skyrim for years now and I only just found out about this two days ago: For the Thieves Guild quests, returning the Key to the Twilight Sepulcher is not actually the last main quest, even though it's technically a completed questline afterwards. If you keep doing more jobs for Delvin and Vex, (you have to complete five jobs each in Whiterun, Markarth, Solitude, Windhelm) you'll eventually be given special quests that unlock shops and contacts for the Guild in all the big cities. If you complete them, apparently there's an actual ceremony and quest were you become the full-on leader of the Guild. Not sure if you know that already, but I went for so long without knowing because I just figured it was done and never even bothered to check.....Oof, that was a rant.
Yeah, the werewolf form is pretty dull. I know it would have been too difficult to personalize each of them since there's so many werewolves in the Companions alone, but if I'm gonna draw them (even canon characters), I'm gonna spiff them up a bit.
That's fun at least....Definitely. I think it's one of the longer questlines as well and there's so many twists and turns so it's pretty fun. I only wish the Companions questline was longer. Still my favourite despite the shortness of it though because I am a huge sucker for the found-family trope and that's exactly what it is. X3
One hundred percent.
OoooooOOOoooOOhhhh, I can't wait to see them~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, that's not a bad idea....
