Cat reflected upon her injury in the cold of the snow, her own paws wet with blood. She wondered what her kittens would think to see their mama hurt. She wondered what PB would do as he frantically treated the cut. She wondered what Whitaker would say when his beloved mate returned with a wound of his own dancing across his muzzle. Silently, she pondered, and her paranoia consumed her from tail tip to ear.Mocha was going to kill her.
