Oh, I absolutely love the concept here. 
The only thing I might suggest is slowing the blurring of the branch down some, not having it quite so sudden. It almost looks as if it's blurred in one spot, clear the next.
But, really, that's small when all is said and done. Great manip.

I think u always need to adjust or merge the contract of the components of ur artwork .. as u see her the branch lighting it's very obvious, its like collage artwork and thats not required in ur artwork.

the thing I like the most about it, given that it is a conceptual work, it that I didn't need to read the description to have that feeling of time's deadline like something rotten, like a fruit of anxiety also... which conveys with the anger in the child's teeth... I hope this makes sense!

I really like this idea. The only things about the image itself that throw me are that her thumb isn't visible, and the awkward positioning of (what I assume is) her elbow, extending beneath & to the left of her hand. I love the clockface; it's blended splendidly with the stem and sprig. The recycled paper look is a nice touch. (What's that called, an underlay or something? Not up on my terms.)
What I like most about this is what it represents, being the second piece you've posted since the block. Good girl.

I know what you mean about the thumb and her elbow... unfortunately those were issues present in the original photo that I really don't have the skill to fix LOL
