I recently retrieved some of my old work files from when I was still with IFS so I decided to share some of them here with you.This is one of a number of plate illustrations I did for Osprey Publishing's Osprey Adventure series. This one in particular is for their book, Knights Templar: A Secret History . Pls note that although these works may seem somewhat historical they're mostly fictional in nature.

Would be cool if The Satanic Temple had a hermaphroditic Baphomet like this on their property and the masculine design in a public space. Both designs look great.Β Β

Yep. The Templars never engaged in demon worship, pagan rituals, or occultism. It was just a lie by a French King hoping to plunder the treasury of a faithful military order.Β Β

Yeah, thats just one of alot of pop culture stuff about the templars, and one of alot of accusations made by the king of france against them (due in large part because he was in tremendous debt to their order) Β just threw every possible accusation against them hoping something would stick. Β For the most part they were a pretty straight forward christian monastic order, and after the purges most of them either joined other orders or did the same thing just under a different name in different locations, notably the knights of santiago in spain fighting against the moors was one. Β

Not really Satan. More or less like the "Horned God" of classical antiquity and paganism, but since it's got horns and wings everyone seems to think it's the Judaeo-Christian devil.Β
Most likely the whole Baphomet thing was a false accusation by the King of France and the Church that they used to put the Templars to the chopping block becaus they were a rival to their own power and influence.Β

"Triggering" is a concept related to the symptoms of PTSD specifically. You use it completely out of context.
It is used to describe the process of having sensations,Β imagesΒ or experiences trigger a traumatic memory. One can't just "get triggered"; what gets triggered are the symptoms of PTSD.
