I just saw the note that mentioned black magic. There is really no such thing as "magic". Magic is just what the viewer perceives when they see something they they cannot explain. And because they don't understand what they are seeing, and ESPECIALLY because they cannot control it, they only assume it must be dark or evil because they know what evil controlling things they would do to people if only they could possess it. (And because the Palestinians hearts were evil, "dark"ness is exactly what the Palestinians saw, and received).

Imagine you were living in the times before electricity. It was winter and your family was about to freeze to death (literally). But because you were special in the eyes of God, and because you made a promise to God to do good works for Him if He somehow saved you and your family from dying, God sent you a heater that did not require any energy to make it function and produce heat. And BOOM, you were given a miracle! But you,…being the loving and giving person that you are, you decided to invite a few friends to bring their families over to your house and keep warm. Of course, this is wonderful, and everyone loves this thing called a heater, and they cannot wait to tell their friends about this wonderful thing. However, some friends think these rumors are total bulls&%t. So they come to see this heater for themselves and see if these rumors about the heater are really true. And then they see it, and holy moly…the now know the heater is real!!! How long do you think it would take before someone eventually says to one of their friends "Hey, how does THIS frigging guy get a heater and WE don't?", and then they bring a group of their buddies who just come and snatch your heater? If God did help you to get your heater back, would you still continue to tell any friends? Or would you wait until they just came knocking on your door in the bitter cold ready to freeze to death asking for help? Maybe they want to save their friend. But before they just show the friend the heater and risk losing it again, he asked the friend to make a promise to God that if they can see a heater and become warm, they swear on their life they will never tell anyone about the heater or God may strike them down before they tell anyone. And they really have no problem making that promise because they really don’t believe in God anyway. (Whatever REALLY happens when the heater gets turned on, its enough to somehow convince the friend that God accepted their promise).

Why would Christian knights summon a demon?

The templars werent as holy and kind as the church made them out to be, before calling them blasphemers. The templar kings always had a lot of hype throughout their entire history. The original handful of templars didnt even go to the holy land to actually protect people, they were treasure hunters looking for money and relics... which they found and made a fortune off of, became a business, went back to the middle east to make more money escorting pilgrams for fees, then became bankers and mercs.
The church gave them a lot of power since they were heavily employed by the church, but they didnt really try to live like christ
But na, they werent devil worshipers, demonologists, or any of that... even though they actually did hold some some kemetic entities in high regard like baphomet (who isnt the devil or evil, in Egyptian mythology he sculpted humans out of clay from the nile and taught them how to live). But of course when it comes to Catholicism... any entity outside of christianity is a demon or the devil, and anyone who worships them are devil worshipers

Sorry but Templars being Baphomet worshippers is simple and pure French inquisitor bullshit,a statement created in base of torture ,templars in essential where a religious order whit their own conduct code out of campaign,of course, they used mercenaries and fortune hunters in their ranks in the crusaders,in the end they needed an army, but out of them they where armed priests

i didnt say they worshiped Baphomet, i said they held some non-christian deities in high regard. This is true, as several werent at all devout christians. They were just employed by the church and used that veil for business, ever since the beginning with the first handful of "knights" that were treasure hunting during the end of the crusades.
Yes, the french king and the pope certainly conspired against the templar knights because they were gaining way too much power and influence, and due to that they conjured up a lot of bs via torture and propaganda... but that doesnt at all mean the templar knights were actual christians.
Some were, but many were really just wealthy people buying their families and people into the organization to increase their own personal power, in turn of boosting the templar knight's.
They werent armed priests, they were wealthy mercenaries and bankers pretending to be paladins

They are Masonic Templar's, the thing with christian symbolism is only for masquerade.
The templars are not real Christians.
Good representation there!

Those were rumers made up by the king of France as an excuse to wipe them out.
There is no historical proof that they were blasphemous

And another version is that of the Templar's discover the real teachings of Jesus Christ and the apostles, in some documents stolen from Jerusalem. In that writing they say that The Heavenly Father is a different God that is placed in Kingdom Come, and that the real god of earth is Satan. They say also that the Jewish people are the sons of Satan, created by him, from different Semitic tribes( Akkadians, Babylonians, etc).
But this are speculation, nothing more.

I' know that the Pope of that time wants to wipe them out!
Some of the Templar's have found secret teachings of how initiate a contact with demons, those manuscripts are from co-optic Gnostic Hebrew and Egyptians writings, as Thoth emerald tablets.

Because The king of France told him all these things you have been saying and some (likely fabricated) evadence to "prove" his point.
The only reason a templar would woman a demon would be to imprison it.

Are you sure of that!?
What makes you believe that the Templar's was so benevolent?
They are masons, and they have rituals with Bahomet, a demon that has androgen appearance with a head of a goat.

I remember seeing a documentary about this. The King of France was heavily in debt to them so he spread a bunch of vicious rumours so he could drive them out and steal their wealth. They managed to hide most of it but their grandmaster was still executed for Heresy, I think. The King of France claimed that they worshiped demons and things to get the church to go along with the crazy. It also said that they were mostly looking for wealth though.

In Medieval times, King Philip the Second (I believe it was the second) accused them of committing things like witch-craft and heretical rituals as an excuse to attack their keep and take their riches.
The artist is just taking that concept as a fantasy "What if he was right" thing or something like that.
