Hahah i love this picture. I concerntated so much on it back in the day. This is some Perperation studying for m GCSE work. basically i was studying bout structures, and the base line of my art was to Research an artist. I chose AndrewJones, the concept artist for metroid prime! THAT GAME KICKED SO MUCH ASS< WELL DONE RETROSTUIDOS/NINTENDO.Neway, since i was doing Insects, the idea of metroids came to mind, and since i was doing Stuctures, i choes to think of insects Outer shells, which led me to Samuses Light suit, It was like the best idea id seen in ages and i had to copy it, that aswell as the DARK version of Samus, Phazon Consumed METROID PRIME[THAT GAME KICKS ASS!].
I learnt alot about how to shade better and the structure of human mucles with theses pictures. And a handy thing with these pictures is the fact that i Useds a sort of used up[non sharp but soft] pencil. that really helped with some styles.

Ha ha, it's a pity I chose some old fuddy duddy as my artist for my GCSE. You know. M.C. Escher and all that.
I would have so prefered this kind of stuff -- even if your work was different to what I was doing. Man! I love Metroid!

j00 know what, im amazed at how much your ability in in re-drawing hasnt changed but has remained at its high above average quality, but deffinately your rendering skills ahve improved but you cant see hat from this one, this picture is just as good as your newer pieces BUT it was harder to do, so it does show you've improved because the hard stuff now isnt so hard.

well duh, if the hard stuff is easy that means there's something new thats hard for you to do and that new thing is your current full potential, what you need to do is figure out what it is.

yeah ive improved too, but not at a rate i want to and i cant do all the things i want to due to lack of equipment and/or skill. but whats annoying me is AS art, we dont F*ing learn to improve our artistic skill, but rather to analyse other poeple and kiss the examiner's ass. you dont even need to do a final piece to pass! im realy thinking about dropping the subject.

Oh boi you think you got it bad, i thought i was ok for my age. but i went art school today and there were like 7 new people who KICK MY ASSS! theres this girl who is HOTTTTT and can also draw 3 time better than me. in pen, her stuff looks like real black and white photographs, and theres a phew wanna be fasiondeisgners there that draw in the same stlye as me just use it better! Anouyance with myself, and i drew rubbish today[not uploading the pics]. And i feel to aprouch these girls coz there kinda cute but im scared now! and im usually the player!

haha thanx. Dont yah ever look at an old piece of work and think: "wow that was ages ago, i wcould do much better than that now" even if it was only like a year ago? thats the feeling i got
