Description
Cobweb, Moth(Mote), Peaseblossom, and Mustardseed, respectively. All minor characters in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" one of my favorite pieces of literature.I've been wanting to do a picture with them for years now, so I'm glad I finally got this out. The only thing that really bothers me is that I forgot the hedgehog that Mustardseed was supposed to be shooing away. Oh well, he's not very noticable anyway.
I like Cobweb alot, and his wings came out better than I expected. Peaseblossom's probably telling the other fairies how wonderful he is...and he doesn't even notice his wonky hand and chin...bugger. Ah well, I'm happy with it.
I have a half-done watercolour of this that I might load if I ever bother to finish it.
Consider this the real "1000 Hit" picture...I spent considerably longer on it... (40+ levels on photoshop and God alone knows how many hours)
...I think I'll do another of Cobweb. I like him.
