No. Β I hand sewed the foam pieces directly into the short wig.

historically i have had more luck painting upholstery foam with a gloss exterior latex house paint, rather then spray paint. its kind of messy, takes longer to dry and adds a little bit of weight, but you get much better coverage, and wont gas yourself while wearing it. take the foam dip it in paint, give it a squeeze, then ring out the foam. another nice part about it is you can easily dry brush the foam after the base coat is dry.

The spikes will be covered in wig extensions so I'm just spraying the foam so that it is darker than what it is now.
