Description
requested that I draw a fat hobbit. And I was feeling rather open-minded. So here one is. I s'pose he's more chubby than fat, in hindsight...And now in colour. I'm thinking I might rework it further. Not fond of how some of the body hair turned out...

Ya know, frankly with how Tolkien wrote his books, ALL the Hobbits were fat and rotund. It's only in the latest movies that they were portrayed as just short waifish pretty boys with big eyes. (exception being Samwise, he was portrayed pretty accurately)
Yer Hobbit is how they are supposed to look, and could very well be an illustration for one of those compendium books. Hmmm...yer gonna have to give him a name, like BarrelBrook or something fantasy-ish. ^^
