Description
The clearest looks we got at this guy were in the Wasteland Patrol and Brood War Intro cinematics. They appeared in a few other places, but almost never up close or in clear light. But, I have made a fairly faithful remaster of it, with just a few very small tweaks.

I actually like this a lot, it is appealingly buglike and exoskeletal. When the Zerg are described as insectoid, this version fits much closer than the SC2 design. But it is odd and inconsistent with every other zergling: it doesn't have an extra set of arms, and it has a copy/pasted hydralisk head. I suspect they mostly showed them in the dark or with the face hidden or far away in SC1 because they were slightly embarrassed of the model being a kitbash, but in BW they show it front and center.
