>Description:Jubokko is a Yokai that comes from a tree placed on a battlefield. The tree grows by drinking the blood of the fallen soliders from battle, turning it into a Yokai. The tree's themselves tend to be stationary, and can manipulate their branches to turn into tubes to suck the blood out of passerbys. He's basically a Vampire Tree.

>Powers / Abilities: Immortality, Shapeshifting and rapid growth.

Alistar is Immortal as long as he has enough human blood flowing into his veins. Human blood works best for him, but he will resort to other forms of life in order to survive if need be. As a Jubokko, he was granted the gift of a human-like form thanks to a certain love mage. Since then, he has been able to transform into a human, or turn parts of him into a tree while in humanoid form. Often times, branches will sprout out of his back with white leaves. The trees and flowers he grows are naturally white, and become red with how much blood he has in reserve for growth and to keep him alive. He also has the power to grow these leaves and flowers at any given time-- as long as he has enough blood. Blood is Big Important.

Alistar has always been very adament about his goals in life. Even if at first all he could really think about was gaining blood-- after truly becoming sentient, he became dedicated to one person and one person alone. Overtime, more of his personality began to show as he was given consiousness. Always wanting to do things just right, always wanted to follow the latest trends to win that special someone's love...

Alistar is VERY romance driven and as a result he is extremely vain and has a tedency to speak in a manipulative manner in order to make himself look like the best person in the room. He often holds grudges and isn't afraid to be petty, even when it might get him in trouble with plenty of people. He truly believes people who are deemed ugly by his standards should truly just die.



   History

The Jubboko tree was but a sappling in year 275 BC. Just one year after the Battle of Chalons in Champagne, France. This sappling would feed off the dead underground, becoming a cursed Jubboko tree and remained this way for centuries. Drinking blood of the deceased underground, killing wandering humans and-- growing. He had no thoughts, none outside of needing blood or killing. Winter would be like hybernating for the tree, while every other season would feel like the rest. It didn't matter, all he could think about was his next meal.

The more blood he consumed, the longer he'd live. The more he felt...alive. It was strange, drinking the blood of humans, especially those that were living prior, caused him to slowly gain a consiousness. As if drinking from those who once drew breath caused him to intake the breath of life as well. Now, Alistar Dupont was truly born. Or at least Sentient. It took even longer for him to gain the ability to speak to those around him. It's not like he had a mouth...Only roots. Which was exactly how it had happened.

He had no idea how long time had passed before he actually spoke to anyone. Or even had the desire to speak to anyone. Humans were just meals to him, he couldn't care less-- that was until Shizu Azuhara entered his life. She must have stumbled into the woods on accident, he had no idea why she was there that day...But she was. His natural instict was to try to drain her of her blood, to toss her body out afterwards for the other plants to feast upon. But she was different. She spoke to him. Whether or not the words were directed towards him at the time was debatable.

He fell in love immediately with her kindness. To show no fear in the face of death, to compliment his leaves..She was different than the other humans. It was like a lightswitch had flicked on in his head, he couldn't stop thinking about her. Wondering how much longer she'd visit these woods, wondering if she'd still speak to him-- wondering if she loved him too. As more humans wandered these woods, Alistar would kill those who'd pass his way per usual. Though another human seemed to pass by him, another one he spared...Simply for the promise to be able to turn into a human.

Yuu, a Love mage, had granted his wish once they learned that Alistar's feelings were linked to love. Thanks to them, Alistar was able to shift into an elegant, almost princely form. It took him a bit to track her down, but soon he found the beautiful girl who wandered into the woods some time ago. Visiting her families flower shop, where they bonded over roses. As the two continued to speak and grow closer, it wasn't long until a relationship had blossomed, then, Alistar popped the question.

Having Shizu has his fiancee had made the Jubokko tree beyond estatic. When her health started to decline, it was like the world was ending. If she had died, he vowed to join her in death's embrace. He pleaded to doctors but to no avail, no one really knew how to cure Shizu's disease...All Alistar could do was pray that she'd survive. By some miracle...she did. No longer human, Alistar whisked his fiancee away into the woods once more, this time in hopes of giving her santuary. He had...errands to run, plenty of blood to stock up in before they could truly be together. He vowed to meet her once more at this mysterious manor, confident in his reserves, he made his way towards the dark woods where he had last saw his love. Oh how he couldn't wait to feel her embrace again...
