Description
BoxArt version of the infamous crossover.It was tough deciding who would go where, but I tried to stay faithful to the original box cover of Super Mario Kart. Only exception is Ashley holding Legion with a fishing rod.

*I've put Garrus as Mario just to justify the counter-mock he gives to Shepard after he got his injury treated. Yep, Shepard was always in the shadow of Garrus.
**Before I get nailed, let me assure you this has nothing to do with racism or racial insensitivity. I just found it would be funny to have Jacob use his Biotics at Grunt the same way DK Junior flings a koopa shell at Bowser.
***In my ME1 playthrough, I had Ashley to die instead of Kaidan. I thought it was funny to add an angelic Lakitu in the sky... And Legion looks like a walking camera, so I don't need to explain further.

I spent so much time playing both games. Super Mario Kart is one of my favorites on Super NES, and Mass Effect 1 & 2 might be my most favorite RPG on PC. I say "might", because I've played too many games in my time to remember all of them.

I've got many old classics on WiiWare... So much I think I've spent too much on it and not enough on actual Wii games. In fact, I think Wii sold out more just because of the classics. -That and WiiFit.

I'm a Castlevania IV and Symphony of the Night fan. I've also liked Aria/Dawn of Sorrow, but I can't say I did like Portrait of Ruins (it was a retarded Anime ripping off SotN, to be honest).
I have both SotN and Chronicles in my PS3, but Chronicles reminds me too much of how much I failed at the original Castlevanias.

I liked those games too, PoR was ok, but yeah its more or less a clone. But playing as Ricther when you beat it was awesome.

What saddened me about PoR was that they did too much anime cutscenes that lead nowhere (like how everyone seems to comment how young Charlotte is, even the two childish vampirellas say so). And I was really pissed at the real final boss. It was utterly retarded. Plus I've seen too many monsters ripped off the previous games, and I won't mention the blatant character ripoff of Alucard in Dawn of Sorrow, he was really standing out from the rest of the saturated anime crowd. Got me going for a while.

Yeah I know whatcha mean, I see alot of reused sprites in these games, lack of creativity but to be fair the majoirity of those enemies are best suited for games like that and they wouldn't be the same without em, but yeah the anime cutscenes that led no where made the alot of it pointless. Heck, even the story didn't have THAT much of a grip if ya ask me.

meh, the story was just an attempt to cash-in on the franchise. But since they locked themselves to a widely acclaimed storyline (Dracula rises once every century), they could not make another story like Aria/Dawn of Sorrow which was almost pushing the limits to an unacceptable degree.
PoR's plot was almost the same as the one from Aria/Dawn of Sorrow. Some jackoff wants the power of Dracula, so he works for his resurrection /slash/ feed on his power.
Anyway lol -because I could go on for years- Portrait of Ruins convinced me NEVER to buy any more games of the franchise, "Judgement" confirmed that. ...but Nobuo Uematsu (-or the guy behind Metal Gear franchise) is about to do a reimagination of the franchise. Damn my flimsy principles!!

Well am glad to hear that there going back to what made it good instead of just rehearsing a contast story that constantly repeats. I'm hoping to see something good from them, Castlevania is a great game in my opinion, I love the NES ones despite how hard they are, there fun, great music and I have alot of memories of the SNES one as a kid <3

I loved Castlevania IV especially... since it's one of the only Castlevania classics I managed to finish XD but it's more than just that, honestly.
I'll be sitting here on my rocking chair mumbling about how those days were awesome, and throw peppermint at kids with their damn PS3 and their damn Crysis and their damn next gen consoles grumble grumble XD
