I gave this pic. that title cuz to me, it looks like Trell is looking back at someone/something while confidently swimming away from that someone/something. XDThat background was a pain the arse. D: But I didn't want to leave her floating in a white void this time....though...I'm reminded that one reason I don't draw backgrounds much is because to me, they sometimes take away from the main focus of the picture. :/
Anyway. Totally re-done Atlantica!Trellia. 8D I've NOT ONE complaint about how she looks here. I even somehow managed to make her look her age, 18-19, instead of like...14-15 this time too! X3
Instead of basing her colors on the fairy-basslet, which after a while I thought just did not fit her, I decided to loosely base them on a Tiger Shark. 8D Her tail has a few extra fins, and a frill there, because since she's from a fantasy world herself, I figured she should look..well..more fantasy-ish than the merpeople who are actually IN Atlantica. XD yup.
I'll admit though...I /sorta/ stole the pose. but only half-way. XD
